Fit 5/SOFit 6-week Spring Challenge

Want to perform your best at every competition this spring? Get a head start by doing these health and fitness activities each week.

Participate in as many activities as you can and at the end of the season complete the fitness registration form to have a chance at winning a pair of shoes!

Rules & Prizes:

  1. Season starts March 15 and goes through June 6
  2. Participate in as many weeks and activities as you can.
  3. Complete the Fitness Registration form after your 6th week. All registrations are due by June 6.

WIN A PAIR OF SHOES! 10 random athletes will be chosen for the chance to win a pairs of shoes (value limited to $75) Special Olympics Minnesota staff will follow up with the 10 winners after June 6.

Week 1: Stretching

Spend 5-10 minutes stretching each day. Check out this introduction to stretching video.

Week 2: Hydration

Drink 5 bottles of water each day. Check out the Fit 5 hydration plan.

Week 3: Mental Health

Spend 5 minutes focusing on Meditations or affirmations each day. Check out this meditation for beginners video.

Week 4: Fruits & Veggies

Eat 5 fruits and vegetables each day. Check out the Fit 5 fruit & veggie snack plan.

Week 5: Endurance

Complete 30 minutes of activity each day. Check out the Fit 5 Endurance activities you can try at home!

Week 6: Strength

Complete a full body workout each day. Check out the Fit 5 Strength activities you can try at home!
